I was actually born in Bunbury so many years ago that the hospital is no longer there! However from the age of 3, I grew up in the northern suburbs of Perth. One set of grandparents lived in Bunbury and the others lived in Dunsborough, so most school holidays saw my brothers, sisters and I heading south to spend time in the SW.
After graduating from Murdoch my first job took me back to Dunsborough. From there I had a stint in Victoria, then over to the UK for a year of travel. 5 years later with a lovely wife and 2 gorgeous girls, I came back to WA.
Eventually we found ourselves in Busselton and we bought Busselton Vet Hospital in 2004. Since then the business has grown and we moved into our new hospital in December 2009.
My vision is that Busselton Vet Hospital will become the hospital of choice for both clients and staff in the SW region, by providing high quality veterinary work combined with excellence of service.
At home, Caroline and I now have 4 gorgeous girls to keep us young! As well as 2 dogs, Shadow our little tea-cup poodle, Sully a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (who is so pretty everyone thinks that he is a she!) as well as Anzac our big black cat. Not to mention 4 chooks in the backyard.

I grew up in suburban Perth, and throughout childhood had a varied collection of animals including chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, mice, cockatiels, galahs and even a magpie. A dream to live in the south-west was formed by years of family camping trips. After completing a few years of a psychology degree I transferred to veterinary medicine, and graduated from Murdoch University in 2015. I moved to Busselton soon after with my two dogs, Ghost the mixed breed and Summer the golden retriever, and cat Shiloh. In my time off I enjoy day trips with the dogs to the beach, or cooking up a storm in the kitchen! My true passion is fostering the human-animal bond, and I believe that there is no greater joy in life than having pets.
